RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE COMMISSIONERS.

In addition to the Recommendations submitted to the Government of each Eastern Colony we beg

to add the following special recommendations for

the consideration of His Excellency, the Governor

of Singapore.

That a joint scheme for the provision of

facilities for free diagnosis and treatment for

Venereal Diseases be considered between Singapore

and the Federated Malay States.

That a Venereal Specialist be added to the

Staff of the Principal Medical Officer.

That a special clinic for residents in the

centre of the town, in addition to those at the

outlying Hospitals should be provided.

That a medical woman should have charge

of one at least of the clinics for women and be in

a position to supervise educational propaganda

among women.
